DECLARING OUR UNITY IN WORSHIP
Psalm 100
Make a joyful noise to the Lord, all the earth.
Serve the Lord with gladness; come into His presence with singing.
Know that the Lord is God. It is He who made us, and we are His; we are His people and the sheep of His pasture.
Enter His gates with thanksgiving and His courts with praise.
Give thanks to Him; bless His name.
For the Lord is good; His steadfast love endures forever and His faithfulness to all generations.
PRAYER SEEKING GOD’S PRESENCE
Merciful Father, Son, and Spirit, may we know You more clearly, love You more dearly, and follow You more dearly day by day. Amen.

GOD, WE’RE LISTENING
Jeremiah 1:1-10
read by Francisco Bartolon
The words of Jeremiah son of Hilkiah, of the priests who were in Anathoth in the land of Benjamin, to whom the word of the Lord came in the days of King Josiah son of Amon of Judah, in the thirteenth year of his reign. It came also in the days of King Jehoiakim son of Josiah of Judah until the end of the eleventh year of King Zedekiah son of Josiah of Judah, until the captivity of Jerusalem in the fifth month.
Now the word of the Lord came to me saying,
“Before I formed you in the womb I knew you,
and before you were born I consecrated you;
I appointed you a prophet to the nations.”
Then I said, “Ah, Lord God! Truly I do not know how to speak, for I am only a boy.” But the Lord said to me,
“Do not say, ‘I am only a boy,’
for you shall go to all to whom I send you,
and you shall speak whatever I command you.
Do not be afraid of them,
for I am with you to deliver you,
says the Lord.”
Then the Lord put out His hand and touched my mouth, and the Lord said to me,
“Now I have put my words in your mouth.
See, today I appoint you over nations and over kingdoms,
to pluck up and to pull down,
to destroy and to overthrow,
to build and to plant.”
Acts 16:11-15
read by Francisco Bartolon
We therefore set sail from Troas and took a straight course to Samothrace, the following day to Neapolis, and from there to Philippi, which is a leading city of the district of Macedonia and a Roman colony. We remained in this city for some days. On the Sabbath day we went outside the gate by the river, where we supposed there was a place of prayer, and we sat down and spoke to the women who had gathered there. A certain woman named Lydia, a worshiper of God, was listening to us; she was from the city of Thyatira and a dealer in purple cloth. The Lord opened her heart to listen eagerly to what was said by Paul. When she and her household were baptized, she urged us, saying, “If you have judged me to be faithful to the Lord, come and stay at my home.” And she prevailed upon us.

GOD HELP US
Prayer
We conclude with the Lord’s Prayer:
Our Father, who art in heaven, hallowed be Thy name. Thy kingdom come, Thy will be done, on earth as it is in heaven. Give us this day our daily bread, and forgive us our sins as we forgive those who sin against us. And lead us not into temptation but deliver us from evil. For Thine is the kingdom, and the power, and the glory forever. Amen.
THANKING GOD FOR HIS GOODNESS
We offer God a portion of our money as a way to say we love God, and desire to encourage the ministry & mission of the church.

Art Hamilton, our brother in Christ, left this earthly life this past Monday morning. He is now at peace after several years of chronic illness and pain. We grieve with his wife Rosa and all of his loved ones, and while we mourn his absence we know that he anticipates the resurrection and the life eternal that awaits all of the followers of Jesus.
Art’s funeral service will be held today at 4:00 pm at Benson Funeral Home, 3224 W. Montrose Ave. Visitation will begin at 3:00 pm at Benson. Details at https://www.bensonfamilyfuneralhome.com/obituary/Arthur-Hamilton. Peace to his memory.

Farmers market help needed
Wednesday’s farmers market began under very hot conditions that kept foot traffic down, but as the afternoon went along the temperature cooled down and more and more people showed up. Our tally for the day was 751 adult visitors, the most we’ve had since the 2026 Ravenswood Community Farmers Market began a month ago. Of course, there were plenty of kids on hand to enjoy the bounce house, art tent, and water toys!
This season we are invited to participate in the newness of the movement of the Spirit! New relationships. New bounce house. New community art projects.
Join us in this mission and ministry by signing up to:
· Be a prayer partner
· Help facilitate an activity
· Show up and be present
· Set up or clean up
· Contribute to our needs list
Sign-up sheets and a needs list are available today! Questions? Please see Bekah Carlson or Leslie Hodgkinson.
RECC church directory
It has been quite some time since Ravenswood Covenant produced a church directory, and the church’s Leadership Team would like to create a new one to aid our attendees with getting to know each other and being able to contact each other. You can help us out by scanning the QR code above or by clicking on this Google Forms link: https://forms.gle/GD7ZeLUCamXxAjV76 . Thanks for participating!
