Thanksgiving Eve Service 2025
*CALL TO WORSHIP adapted from Psalm 118:1, 19-24
Pastor: Give thanks to the Lord, for He is good;
Congregation: His love endures forever.
Pastor: Open for me the gates of righteousness;
Congregation: I will enter and give thanks to the Lord.
Pastor: This is the gate of the Lord through which the righteous enter.
Congregation: I will give you thanks, for You answered me;
You have become my salvation.
Pastor: The stone the builders rejected has become the chief cornerstone.
Congregation: The Lord has done this; it is marvelous in our eyes.
Pastor: This is the day the Lord has made!
All: Let us rejoice and be glad in it!

Lord God, help us to be truly thankful amidst our great abundance. Forgive us if our wealth blinds us to the needs and poverty of others. Help us to accept every gift as a miracle and blessing from You, and may we seek opportunities to share our bounty with others, in the name of Christ. Amen.
