SINGING OUR LOVE TO GOD
“Low in the Grave He Lay” (chorus only)
hymnal #245
Up from the grave He arose!
With a mighty triumph o’er His foes!
He arose a victor from the dark domain,
And He lives forever with His saints to reign.
He arose! He arose! Hallelujah! Christ arose.
PRAYER SEEKING GOD’S PRESENCE
Living Lord, as You stood among your disciples, come to us this morning in Your risen power. Breathe Your Holy Spirit into our hearts. Make us glad to celebrate and worship You. Glory be to You, O God! Glory be to You, O Christ! Glory be to You, O Holy Spirit! One God forevermore. Amen.

GOD, WE’RE LISTENING
1 Corinthians 15:1-8
read by Rod Kutz
Now I want you to understand, brothers and sisters, the good news that I proclaimed to you, which you in turn received, in which also you stand, through which also you are being saved, if you hold firmly to the message that I proclaimed to you—unless you have come to believe in vain.
For I handed on to you as of first importance what I in turn had received: that Christ died for our sins in accordance with the scriptures and that He was buried and that He was raised on the third day in accordance with the scriptures and that He appeared to Cephas, then to the twelve. Then He appeared to more than five hundred brothers and sisters at one time, most of whom are still alive, though some have died. Then He appeared to James, then to all the apostles. Last of all, as to one untimely born, He appeared also to me.

GOD HELP US
Prayer
WE CONCLUDE WITH THE LORD’S PRAYER:
Our Father, who art in heaven, hallowed be Thy name. Thy kingdom come, Thy will be done, on earth as it is in heaven. Give us this day our daily bread, and forgive us our sins as we forgive those who sin against us. And lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil. For Thine is the kingdom, and the power, and the glory forever. Amen.
THANKING GOD FOR HIS GOODNESS
We offer God a portion of our money as a way to say we love God, and desire to encourage the ministry & mission of the church.

What does the world look like because Jesus is alive? Today, following worship, you are invited to join an all-church art project that answers the above question. Downstairs during coffee hour there will be a place for you to create art . . . a picture, a word, a poem, a song . . . that tells us how you see the world in which Jesus lives.
Church Cleaning Day
On Saturday, April 25 we will hold a Church Cleaning Day starting at 9:00 am so that we can give the building a much-needed cleaning. Lunch will be served afterward. Any block of time that morning that you can give us to assist in the task would be greatly appreciated.
