Barbara holds a Master's degree in Psychology from National-Louis University.  Barbara has also completed a Master's Certificate in Career Development from Hamline University and a Bachelor's of Arts in Psychology with a minor in Biblical and Theological Studies from North Park University. Barbara's work experience has been in Career Counseling, Working with At-Risk Youth and Short-term Individual and Marital Counseling.

Barbara is currently a member at Ravenswood Covenant Church. Barbara enjoys spending time with her husband Nathan, a high school English teacher and their young daughter Sanne.
